A small bridge that connects life-long learners and future
I appreciate your visit.
I’m Duc Hoang, Research Fellow at RMIT University Vietnam, and Vice-President of the Advisory Council, Sky-Line Education System, Vietnam, as well as an Academy Member of the Global Young Academy (2025-2030). I’m also the former Founding Director, and former Principal Investigator of Teaching and Learning at EdLab Asia. Over the last decade, I have significantly contributed to the development of new educational policies through my work with Vietnamese government bodies and local and international NGOs. Furthermore, I triggered a free learning community for over 40,000 K–12 teachers. In those communities, a sizable number of social and educational initiatives have been established.
I’m also a Klingenstein Fellow at Teachers College, Columbia University; Fellow of UNESCO Chair on Technology and Engineering Education for Children and Youth; Grand Award Judge of Regeneron ISEF 2024, 2025; and Editorial Member of several journals (Higher Education, Skills and Work-based Learning; Learning Futures and Emerging Technologies; PLOS One; The Learning Organization; Journal of Comparative and International Higher Education; and Asian Education and Development Studies).
I have gained accolades as a game-changer in Vietnamese education from the Vietnam National Youth Union (2020, 2022), the Australia-Vietnam Leadership Dialogue, the British Council’s Global Future Leader (2021), HundrED.org (2021), and the Ministry of Education and Training (2022). Notably, I have been featured as a solo case study, “Teacher of Teachers,” in a professional development course offered by the Right Question Institute and Harvard Graduate School of Education (from October 2023 and continuing).
